30% Kava Extract Powder (Piper Methysticum)

Piper Methysticum (also known as kava or kava kava) is a member of the pepper family and is native to the South Pacific islands. Cultures have used it for various reasons for thousands of years. The root and stem are the parts of the kava plant that contain the active ingredient. This kava extract powder is 30% kavalactone using the roots only. This means that 30% of the product is kavalactones extracted from the actual root of Piper Methysticum. This extract should not be confused with powdered Kava root, which can contain woody particles and other bi-products.
